I’m a gamer, and I use the Elgato HD60 X to capture all my awesome gameplay from the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. You know, like many others out there who love to stream their gaming sessions.

But, guess what? When I tried hooking up the HDMI Passthrough from Elgato HD60 X to my Dell U2722D monitor, it just wouldn’t cooperate. It kept showing the message on the screen, saying it couldn’t find the video signal from the Elgato HD60 X.

I racked my brain trying to figure out why this was happening. And you know what’s weirder? My other monitors worked perfectly.

So, after doing some digging, I stumbled upon a solution — an HDMI Switcher from Baseus!

Baseus Matrix HDMI Splitter (2-in-1 or 1-in-2)

I connected my PlayStation 5 and Elgato HD60 X through the Baseus, and it acted as the middleman, making everything work smoothly. Now, I can capture and stream my gaming adventures without any interruptions.

PlayStation 5 > Baseus > Elgato HD60 X > Computer & Monitor

If any of you folks are facing the same issue, give this hack a try! It worked like magic for me, and I hope it does the same for you.

Happy gaming and streaming!
